Buckethead en 8:11

Buckethead, nacio en 1969 bajo el nombre de Brian Carroll, es un guitarrista y compositor norteamericano. Su logo es tener una mascara de plástico blanca y una cubeta de Kentucky Fried Chicken, con esto Carroll creo una persona diferente para enfatizar con su identidad musical. El es un compositor prolífico, ha lanzado mas de 20 albumes como solista y ayudado en mas de 33. El varia entre los estilos de thrash metal, funk, electronica, avant-garde, jazz ambiental, death metal y música minimalista.



Pese a poder tocar varios instrumentos como el bajo, la guitarra, el banjo y el piano, Buckethead es conocido por su maestría con la guitarra eléctrica ya que es capas de tocar varios estilos en la guitarra como thrash guitar, Rasgueo y slap guitar.

Guitar One voto por el como el numero 8 de "Los mejores 10 Guitarristas de todos los tiempos"1.

Fue alumno durante casi un año del virtuoso Paul Gilbert el cual influenció de manera notable su fraseo rápido de su técnica shred. Entre otras influencias puede citar Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Jennifer Batten, Shawn Lane y Steve Vai.
